HOURGLASS MAKE-OVERS - WHAT A RESULT!

Passion, More Magazine and The Hourglass teamed up for a competition to give some girls a chance of a complete burlesque make-over.
The lucky winners were transformed into burlesque beauties at the Hourglass stall.
The results and reactions were amazing! The girls had a fantastic time and once the transformation was done they were stalked by photographers that thought they were models hired by Passion.
Upon arrival they were given a little goodie bag by The Hourglass, containing Champagne, Stockings and gift vouchers from lingerie dealers as a little starter. They were fitted into a gorgeous burlesque outfit provided by Rawhide Corsets and slipped into Mauro Slomp’s designer shoes.
Getting their hair and make-up done completed the transformation and the effect on the girls was startling. Suddenly they were walking tall with that swing in their hips and radiating confidence.
The finishing touch was a model photo shoot with The Hourglass that let the girls take centre stage for a while.
All of them said that it was an experience of a life time and that they enjoyed every single minute of it.

This competition was an amazing team work of Passion, The Hourglass, More Magazine, Rawhide Corsets, Mauro Slomp and many others that worked together to give our winners an unforgettable day.

BURLESQUE AGAINST BREAST CANCER

Breast cancer affects 44,000 women and 300 men per year. That means that by the end of today, over 100 women - and probably one man - will have found out that they have it.
Author and journalist, Emily Dubberley, was affected by cancer earlier this year when her mother contracted the disease. She decided to create Burlesque Against Breast Cancer to raise funds for Macmillan, who help improve the lives of people with cancer by providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support, and by pushing for better cancer care.

The countdown for the most passionate weekend in exhibition history has begun, with a last minute flurry of excitement from visitors and exhibitors alike.
